Jonah Linden

Jonah Linden writes of youth, memory, and the lives we might have lived. He came of age in the late 1980s, and his fiction has ranged across the decades since, drawn to the moments that define us and to the places, private mythologies, and music we attach to them. The writing returns to the people who change us and the stories we tell ourselves afterward.

To What We Are and What We Will Be, his debut novel, follows four friends through one summer and the thirty years they spend accounting for it.

He lives in Florida.
